Lorraine Farris made her screen debut as, Pinky in the cult classic "Natural Born Killers" directed by Oliver Stone. She then went on to work with Mary Harron in "I Shot Andy Warhol" playing Susan Pile as Andy Warhol's receptionist at The Factory. She appeared in the hit T.V. series,"Sex In The City" and most recently played Marcy, the alcoholic mother in "Law And Order".Lorraine has worked consistently in independent films with many up and coming directors. Her most recent film work includes: "Redemption" Directed by Tim Martin Crouse,"Sloth" Directed by Giulio Poidomani,"Surviving Family"playing the bi-polar mother, Lucia, that has been a festival favorite Directed by Laura Theis and most recently "Prism" Directed by Calvin Robertson and starring Christiaan Madsen. She also has completed a number of short films in 2013 in which she was the lead actress that will be making the festival circuits. "Hands" directed by Nira Burnstein and "Bug People" directed by Jordan Fein and shot by Emmy Award winner Hunter Baker, "Jeremy" and "Tulips" directed by Whitney Hamilton. Lorraine was associate producer on both. Lorraine is in post production and working with Whitney Hamilton in her feature "Union" in the role of Jesse Tull. Lorraine began her studies at the Actors Studio NY and then with the legendary acting teacher Susan Batson in class and privately for many years. Susan Batson directed Lorraine in 2011 in her one woman show "The Unheard Cries Of Natalie Wood" written and produced by Lorraine.When Lorraine was working in Los Angeles she also studied with highly acclaimed Ivanna Chubbick and was in her Master Class.
